Ski Vacation

You are on a family ski vacation when your wife falls and injures her wrist. She is anxious, a bit short of breath and feels some palpitations. The doctor at the resort clinic diagnoses a fracture, puts on a cast and advises rest.

You call your navigator who is concerned about her lungs and heart, calls a personal colleague at the University Hospital, 1 hour from the mountain, who agrees to see her that afternoon with an EKG and chest CT scan, if needed.

All turns out OK, and she is back at the resort the next day, fully reassured.
