Jonathan Cohen is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Medical School. He completed his residency at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, and fellowships in gastroenterology at UCLA, and advanced endoscopy at The Wellesley Hospital in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Cohen has been a Clinical Professor of Medicine at NYU School of Medicine since 2006. Dr. Cohen is currently Chairman of the Training Committee of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy [ASGE] and co-Director of the Program for Endoscopic Teachers of the World Endoscopy Organization. He has held leadership roles on numerous ASGE committees and task forces over the past 20 years and is being honored by this national organization with its 2016 Distinguished Service Award. He served as President of the New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy in 2004. For each of the past 16 years, he has been named to the Castle Connolly Best Doctors list.

Dr. Cohen is a well-known and highly regarded expert in his medical practice area. He has authored numerous articles, and has made many presentations at scientific meetings both in the U.S and abroad. He has edited two textbooks in his field: Successful Training in Endoscopy” and “Comprehensive Atlas of High-Resolution Endoscopy and Narrowband Imaging,” a volume which has been translated into 4 languages and sold worldwide. Dr. Cohen is recognized by his colleagues around the world as an expert on quality indicators in gastroenterology, as well as simulator training and advanced imaging technologies in the early diagnosis of GI cancers. A sought after national and international lecturer, Dr. Cohen has also directed over 50 training courses in his fields of expertise to groups of doctors in many countries and throughout North America.

Brendan Amyot is an accomplished entrepreneur specializing in new market and new product development, coupled with an expertise in building brands and scaling businesses to industry leadership positions. Brendan’s experience spans diverse corporate settings from early stage companies to public corporations, and a range of business challenges from start-up to scale-up, from turnaround to exit strategy. Most recently, Brendan founded Firerock Partners, an advisory firm that helps small cap and venture backed companies grow their businesses.

As SVP, Banking Group for SourceMedia and Publisher of American Banker, Brendan was responsible for the growth and management of the company’s multiple banking brands, including the group’s flagship, American Banker. Prior to this, he served as SVP, Marketing & Sales for Payzy Corp., in the contactless payments arena and CEO of Globalwires, an international remittance business.

As the founding Head of Marketing and Chief Operating Officer of TheStreet.com, Brendan was instrumental with the launch, rapid growth and successful IPO of this company in 1999.

Brendan built his early career in consumer marketing, growing audience and subscription revenues for Time Inc.’s Entertainment Weekly and for Vibe and SPIN Magazines.

Brendan has served as a Board Member and Advisor to multiple startup ventures and has appeared as a guest speaker on digital marketing at the University of Connecticut and industry associations.

Brendan is a graduate of Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town, South Africa, where he majored in marketing and sales management.

Elise Perlmutter is a results driven strategic business leader focused on comprehensive sales and business development. Known for her work with pharmaceutical companies, Elise has been instrumental in developing sales strategies, and creating partnerships with healthcare and pharmaceutical companies on programs reaching health care professionals and patients.

Most recently, Elise served as Director of Sales at Aptus Health and WebMD with a host of customers including Shire, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Allergen and Bayer, both on the East and West Coasts.
